I started listening to Dave in the 90s on AM radio out of Atlanta. I was in nursing school and a single mother. I was young, broke, and tired. When I graduated I had two credit cards, a car payment, and student loans. I worked so much overtime that first year out of school and paid everything off within 18 months. It was the most exhausting time of my life going to college, working, then once a nurse working extra 12 and 16 hour shifts to pay off debt. I listened to the show as much as I could because it gave me hope and motivation. Now 26 years later, I listen because I’m still learning and I am encouraged to remain debt free. Thank you for decades of HOPE! Both my adult children are debt free because they grew up listening and learning!

Love this show. Eliminates the guess work and puts the onus on individuals to choose reality and then make decisions that actually produce results, regardless of current circumstances. Week of 4/14 - the audio this week has been pretty fuzzy and weird…

I’m learning about this in school and my birthday is tomorrow

I’ve listened for 7 years and am on Baby step 7. The plan works. I’m just not sure the other personalities belong on the show. They sometimes offer bad or not enough advice (based on my years of listening to Dave). Often I can follow the callers’ stats better than the non-Dave personalities. I yell at them to TAKE NOTES and maybe they would remember what the caller said. What should be a 5-minute call turns into 10 because the personalities have to ask so many questions twice. Jade, John and Ken are the worst with their supposedly “relatable” language like “bro”, “I know that”, and “100 percent”. I’d like to hear a show where Dave reviews the calls other personalities take and see what Dave would do differently. Let’s hear that. 5 years ago I would have given the show 5 stars. Now it’s just 3.
