Beautiful program and…

I love how insightful the guests are and how Dan is so open and willing to be vulnerable and own his challenges. I have been uplifted more times than I can count. Thank you. My one grievance, which is something most famous people do, is to call out their friendships with other famous people. In today’s podcast, for example, he mentions Joseph Goldstein. Rather than just name him, he says ‘my (our) good friend’…It feels as though that comes from ego. How does it elevate the info for us, the listeners? It doesn’t.
I can’t quit you, Dan (& team)

I signed up for the free trial, listened all week, then canceled because I “couldn’t afford it.” 2 days later, I’m back. This is the only podcast I pay for because the bonus content with the meditations is really worth it to me. Thank you!
Great guests

I sometimes wonder if I’m in the right tax bracket to be a listener of this show, lol. Even still, as a corporate millennial in middle management, some of the guests have genuinely changed the way I lead my team. Overall a great podcast that I listen to weekly.
I ALMOST always love and learn from the marvelous conversations Dan hosts on this podcast.

While 9 times out of 10 I learn a great deal from the interviews Dan hosts, I found the. Recent conversation with the therapist who causations again weaponizing therapeutic language to be highly problematic and overly simplistic in ways that are not typical for this podcast. I hope your listeners will not feel as invalidated as I did coming out of an “abusive” marriage (and yes, it was abuse—even if he was often temporarily remorseful for his “narcissistic “ and “gaslighting” behavior. I eagerly await a conversation with a Buddhist who talks about the dangers of using Buddhist principles to spiritually bypass and gaslight itself in an abusive relationship.🙏
A lot of content to choose from

I have been listening to this podcast for years. I appreciate the variety of guests and tend to enjoy listening to monks, Buddhists, and actual teachers the most. I really enjoy Dan Harris and appreciate his self- deprecating humor. I have found that some guests are quite out of touch with the average American and their advice is not plausible and frankly, annoying. I don't have any interest in what a rich celebrity or athlete has to say about most things. Despite how grounded they think they are; it's impossible for them to truly understand what the majority of us are going through right now. It was the episode with his old co-anchor, Paula Faris, that prompted me to write this review in hopes that someone from the show actually reads these. The first ten minutes was about their relationship...and I turned it off. I have no desire to hear what this random, self involved woman has to say about anything.
Boring

Tired of hearing from “performance” coaches and celebrities. Please bring in more serious guests who are Buddhist and actually meditate.
Where to begin…

The book changed my life!! I like so many of the people interviewed and it always inspires even more discovery and reading. Also, I appreciate the no nonsense approach to meditation that holds space for everyone and meets you where you are in life.
Soul medicine

I listen to a lot of podcast but find myself often returning to Dan Harris. He is a great interviewer and love the people he has on his show. I have learned so much . It truly is medicine for the heart and soul.

Why on earth would I want to listen to a privileged white female whose late husband destroyed the middle class with his brutal downsizing, outsourcing and offshoring? People like them are rich off the backs of people like me. No one can afford anything anymore as the oligarchs get richer. No thanks Dan
Useful content if you can get past the ad-o-rama that clutters each episode

While many topics and interviewees have interesting, useful insights, the heavy handed advertising both from Dan promoting his entities as well as the paid ads that interrupt the flow of conversation are highly disruptive. Money must be made but is it necessary to occupy so much time with advertising and self-promotion?
